If you are obliged to cancel your trip before it begins (departure date), you must inform The Family Van as soon as possible by any written means that can be acknowledged.

The date of issue of the written notice will be taken as the cancellation date for the purpose of invoicing cancellation fees.

Important: the insurer (if you have one) will assess the date of the event that caused you to cancel your trip, on the basis of the documents you provide directly to the insurer, in order to reimburse you for cancellation costs. Registration, visa and passport fees are non-refundable by The Family Van.

In the event of cancellation of your trip, the provisions set out in our General Terms and Conditions will apply.

The Family Van will charge the following cancellation/resolution fees:

- More than 30 days before departure: modification free of charge;

- 30 to 21 days before departure: 40% of the total price;

- 20 to 14 days prior to departure: 60% of total price;

- 13 to 7 days before departure: 70% of the total price;

- 6 to 1 day before departure: 80% of the total price;

- Day of departure (or no show): 100% of total price;
